Member of Liberty Hill United Methodist Church in Morristown. She loved her church and her Lord Jesus Christ. She loved and appreciated her nurses, CNA's, rehab staff and physicians at Heritage Center. She was married to Willard Barbee of Morristown for 41 years and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She retired from General Electric Company and after retiring, worked at Western Sizzlin Steakhouse and part-time at Wal-Mart. Preceded in death by her parents, Haskell and Ruth Fox of Dandridge; grandson, Joshua Barbee; sisters, Arlone Fox, Edna Sheffey and Gladys Whitt; brothers, Anderson Fox and Herbert Fox. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Fred Heaton of Strawberry Plains, Janice and Larry Buckner of Strawberry Plains; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Bobbi Barbee of Morristown; five grandchildren and spouses, Richard and Lisa Barbee of Knoxville, Angela and Allen Williams of Rutledge, Michael Greene of Knoxville, Donnette Barbee of Clinton, Amy and Dustin Blackburn of Morristown; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Maggie Fox McClain of Morristown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Everett and Barbara Fox of Knoxville, Mack and Mary Fox of Jefferson City; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2008 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Charles Davis and Reverend Larry DeVault officiating. Interment graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Dandridge. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
