Phillip D. Kimbrough

PHILLIP D. KIMBROUGH, age 50, of White Pine, TN passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 after a brief battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Laurence and Florence Kimbrough, and Jesse James and Cordie Baxter; father, Jackie D. Kimbrough and step-mother, Margie Kimbrough. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Rita Kimbrough; and children, Haley and Cecil Sartain of White Pine; mother, Louise and Roy Webb of Cosby; siblings, Allen (Stephanie) Kimbrough, Tracy Durham, Robin Ramsey, David (Judy) Kimbrough, Kristy(Tommy) Cagle, all of Morristown and Shana Clevenger of Newport; also several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff and nurses of Smokey Mountain Hospice, and to his son Cecil Sartain for all the special care given to him during his illness. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, with the Rev. Raymond Estes and Rev. Glenn Ball officiating. Family will receive friends from 12 - 2:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside interment service will be held in Beth-Carr Cemetery following the funeral service.
