Phillip Michael Holbert

Phillip Michael Holbert, age 53, of Kodak, TN left this earth suddenly on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 to be with his Lord. He was owner and operator of Holbert Properties, and was a member of the French Broad Lodge # 588 F & AM of Kodak and Kerbela Shrine Club of Knoxville, where he served as one of the drivers to take children to the Shriner’s Hospital and the Royal Order of Wefts (The Roe). Preceded in death by his father, Bobby Holbert. Phil is survived by his faithful and loving wife of 35 years, Kim Bales Holbert; daughters, Sarita Holbert and Laura Byrd; grandchildren, Sydney Holbert, Madison Byrd and Austin Byrd; mother, Lena Cate Holbert; sister, Connie Holbert Allen; several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins and friends. Funeral services, Monday, 11:00am at the Kodak United Methodist Church with Rev. Brad Hyde officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon and evening at the Kodak United Methodist Church from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 5:00 to 7:00pm with Masonic Services by the French Broad Lodge to be held at 7:00pm.
