Peter McEwen

PETER McEWEN, age 74, of Dandridge, TN passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 after losing his fight with Alzheimer?s he had battled for 3 years after being diagnosed in 2007. He was born in Scotland and immigrated to the United States in 1958 with his lovely wife Agnes where they resided in Long Island, New York for over 42 years before retiring to Tennessee. He was a retired master brick layer and enjoyed playing darts and soccer. Peter was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Young at Heart. He was preceded in death by his sisters, May and Cathy, and granddaughter, Tara. Survived by wife, Agnes McEwen; daughter, Patricia Rodriguez; sons, Mark and Kenny McEwen and 8 grandchildren; brother, Eugene McEwen. A funeral mass will be held, Saturday, January 1, 2011, 2:00pm at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Dan Whitman officiating. Family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00pm prior to the funeral mass at the church.
