PEARL "JAN" WILSON RICK, age 83, formerly of Brooksville, Florida, died at Jefferson County Nursing Home on March 31, 2010 under the loving care of the staff and Hospice. She was born in Kenvir, Kentucky on July 17, 1925 to the late Curtis and Tina (Hammons) Wilson. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Preceded in death by her husband, Evan R. Rick and special friend, Ray Allsbury; brothers and sisters-in-law, Coy Wilson, Owen Wilson and wife Ruth, Herman Wilson and wife Pauline; nephews, Bill Wilson and Patrick Evans. She is survived by her former husband and friend, David Drew of St. Petersburg, Florida; nieces, Susan Evans (Allen) of Rutledge, Tennessee, Judy Sutka (John) of Tecumseh, Michigan, Vivian Patterson (Don) of Alameda, California; several great-nieces and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews; cousins and many close friends in Florida. She found joy in caring for her cats and had a deep love for the care and well being of all living things. Her friends describe her as generous, kind and a loyal friend. She had a true appreciation for music and was an accomplished pianist. A special thank you for all the loving care and prayers to First Presbyterian Church of Jefferson City, TN, the staff at Darby House, the staff at Jefferson County Nursing Home, and Smoky Mountain Hospice.
