Box 1025 Dandridge, TN 37725 Phone (865) 397-2711 Fax (865) 397-9289 OBITUARY: PEARL WHALEY, age 92, of Dandridge, TN, went home to be with the Lord and the rest of her beloved family members that have gone on before her on Tuesday evening, October 24, 2006. Pearl loved and attended the First Baptist Church of Dandridge until she became ill and was unable to attend regularly. Preceded in death by husband, Rube ?Joley? Whaley; mother and father, Lenora and Walter Whaley; daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Glenn Price, Verl and Harry Horton, and John C. Miller, Jr., all of Dandridge; sisters, Hazel Ezelle and Clercy Bevins; grandsons, Tracy Price and Michael Horton, all of Dandridge. Pearl is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Marie Miller Young and Bob Young of Jefferson City; brother and sister-in-law, Garland and Nelle Whaley; sister-in-law, Edith Whaley, all of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Jeanne Miller Gann Fox, Jeff Miller, Penny Horton, all of Dandridge, Jerry Price of Knoxville and Ronald Price of Phoenix, AZ. Pearl had seven great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and special friend and wonderful roommate of 3 years, Pansy Howard at Jefferson County Nursing Home. The family wishes to extend great gratitude to the staff at Jefferson County Nursing Home for the care and love they showed during her five years of stay there. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2006 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Dr. Robert A. ?Bob? Young officiating. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 27, 2006 at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
