Pearl D. Hoffner

Pearl D. Hoffner, age 91 of New Market, TN passed away Tuesday evening, February 27, 2024, at her home.  Pearl will be remembered as a true character who was a jubilant and joyful soul who loved to cut up and carry on with anybody she was around and to share her quick-witted humor or say exactly what was on her mind.  She was also a strong willed and determined lady that was a mother to many, faithful farmer’s wife, great cook at Dollywood and dedicated caregiver whether it be at the nursing home or hospital or for someone in the community.  She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ethram and Minnie (Bell) Bolden; husband, Bobby Hoffner; sons, Billy Gilliam, and Eddie Hoffner and twins, Bobby, and Wayne Gilliam; grandsons, Justin Hoffner and Jamie Lawson and Shane Murray.  Pearl is survived by her children, Calvin (Tammy) Hoffner, Dee Hoffner, Barbara Jean Baldwin, and Jim (Amanda) Gilliam; grandchildren, Brandi Hoffner, Robert Hoffner, Billie Sue (Michael) Bott, Ethan, Israel, Seth, and Colby Gilliam; special great-granddaughter Kailey Hoffner; sisters, Joyce Baker and Ruby Ogle. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024, 11:00am at McCampbell’s Chapel Cemetery with Brother Danny Widener officiating.  The family will receive friends Friday, March 1, 2024 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE, TN  (865) 397-2711
