Pearl G. Dukes

Dukes, Pearl G., age 90, of Morristown, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2002 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was born and raised in the Piedmont Community of Jefferson County and was a member of the Piedmont Baptist Church. Pearl was a retired caregiver and homemaker. Daughter of the late Joseph Montgomery and Kate Frenchg Dukes and was preceded in death by a brother, Alex Dukes; sisters, Sally Dukes and Mary Alice Dukes. She is survived by her nephew, Monty Dukes and wife, Valerie and their daughters, Laura and Shelby Dukes. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, October 13, 2002 at the Piedmont Baptist church with Dr. Paul Brewer and Reverend James Kinser officiating. Music by Tenora Acuff and Darrell Chambers. Interment to follow in Piedmont Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the church prior to the services. Pearl requested no flowers and memorials may be made to the Piedmont Baptist Church or Piedmont Cemetery, 1226 W. Dumplin Valley Road, Dandridge, Tennessee 37725.
