Meeting Street Dandridge, TN 37725 PAULINE MANIS MOORE, age 100, of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Grant and Martha Moore Manis and was a life-long resident of Dandridge and Jefferson County. Preceded in death by her husband, J. Leonard Moore; sisters, Thelma Rankin, Juanita McGhee, Racine Moser and infant brother, Eugene Manis. Pauline was a member of the Dandridge First United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the chancel choir. She was a graduate of Carson-Newman University and was an elementary school teacher with over 40 plus years of service for the Jefferson County School System and also enjoyed working on the family farm. She will be fondly remembered for her joy of singing and was often asked to sing at funerals. She is survived by her son, Joe L. Moore and his wife Jean; grandsons, Richard, Michael and Douglas Moore, all of Dandridge, In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Dandridge First United Methodist Church Music Ministry, P.O. Box 8, Dandridge, TN 37725. Funeral services, Sunday 4:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jay Ferguson officiating. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, 2:00 to 4:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
