She was born March 8, 1920, the daughter of the late George and Dicie Gann and was a life long resident of Jefferson County. She was a retired employee of Bush Brothers and Co. Preceded in death by husband, Cleo Etherton; sons, Curtis and Earl Etherton; brothers, Les, Walter and Ralph Gann; sisters, Mary Smith, Addie Sue Brown and Ruth Dunn. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and June Etherton, George and Carolyn Etherton, all of Dandridge; daughters-in-law, Brenda Etherton of Newport and Lillian Etherton of Dandridge; grandchildren, Sherry Duncan, Lisa Etherton, Robin Gantte, Vickie Denton, Eric and Jason Etherton, all of Dandridge, and Charlie Etherton of Sevierville; five great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Gann of Bradenton, FL. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2007 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Troy Duncan and Reverend Scott Gorrell officiating. Entombment services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2007 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice, and to Carolyn Wood, who helped care for Pauline during her illness.
