Pauline Samples Dukes

PAULINE SAMPLES DUKES, age 88, of Dandridge, TN passed away Wednesday morning, September 30, 2015 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was a member of the New Beginning Church of God and was a retired employee of Tennessee Handbags and Epco. Pauline was the daughter of the late Luther Samples and Rachel Allen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Dukes; sister, Audrey Simerly; brother, Jack Turner and granddaughter, Jennifer Dukes Fuson. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Frank Long; son, Michael Dukes; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Barbara Dukes; grandchildren, Christopher (Melanie) Long, Chad (Ragan) Long, Julie Long Hansen and husband Curt, Mark (Dawn) Dukes; step-grandchildren, J.R. , Casey and Travis Brown; great-grandchildren, Natalie Long, Kaden Long, Laurelyn Long and Gracie Long; sisters-in-law, Minnie Laws and Pauline Turner. Funeral services will be held, Friday, Oct.2, 2015, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with the eulogy given by grandson, Chad Long. Graveside interment services will be Saturday, 10:30am at Hills Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
