Paula R. Hiatt

PAULA R. HIATT, age 44, of Knoxville, TN passed away at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center following a battle with cystic fibrosis. Lifelong member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a hairstylist of Ross the Boss with over 10 years of service. Preceded in death by her father, Jack E. Hiatt and brother, Tommy Hiatt. Survived by husband, Darrell Snyder of Knoxville; mother and step-father, Zelma and Neol Thomas of Joplin, MO; brothers, John (Nancy) Hiatt of Brighton, CO, Larry Hiatt of Joplin, MO, Ken (Steffany) Hiatt of Firestone, CO; sisters, Deborah Hiatt of Salt Lake, UT and Jamie Hiatt of Joplin, MO; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Dwight Denton of New Market, TN; sister-in-law, Darla Denton of New Market, TN. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with Bishop Jarom T. Smartt officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning to proceed to Eastview Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 5401 Kingston Pike # 230,Knoxville, TN 37919-5051.
