Paul Ratliff

GENE PAUL RATLIFF, age 63, of Bean Station, TN and formerly of Pikeville, KY passed away suddenly Saturday, September 12, 2009 at his residence. Member of First Baptist Church of Morristown, TN. He was a retired truck driver with UPS and served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam era. Preceded in death by his father, Paul E. Ratliff; mother, Phyllis Coleman Ratliff Johnson; step-father, Buford Johnson; step-brother, Robert D. Johnson. He is survived by daughter, Gina Ratliff Thompson and husband, Billy of Gastonia, NC; son, Race Ratliff of Goshen, VA; granddaughter, Chaney Isabella Thompson; half-brother and wife, John B. (Susan) Johnson of Jefferson City; step-brother, Bill Johnson of Greenup, KY; several nieces and nephews. Memorial funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Georges officiating.
