PAUL LEE LEDBETTER (MARCEL), age 89, of Dandridge, TN passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at home. Paul was a good friend to everyone he met in life. He was so giving without asking anything in return. He was a World War II veteran, having served 5 years with honor. Retired from Bush Brothers Trucking after 40 years of service. He was so proud of having driven 6 million miles with no accidents. Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Viva Finchum Ledbetter; son-in-law, John Ellison; grandson, Ritchie Baxter; parents, Will and Belle Reneau Ledbetter. Survivors include sons, Roy and Larry (his caregiver), and daughter, Marie Ellison; brothers, Marvin, Victor and Morris; sister, Laura; grandchildren, Randy (Wendy) Baxter, Stacey (Rodney) Sexton, Jason (Angela) Ledbetter, and Jessica Ledbetter; great-grandchildren, Amber (Jeremy) Gass, Ashley (Eric) Dance, Christopher (Candace) Miller, Brooke and Lauren Loy; great-great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Dylon, Izabella and Harley. Funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Jesse Buell officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:30 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service with military honors.
