Paul Allen Frayer, age 53 of Morristown, passed away on May 19th at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville, due to medical complications following a stroke suffered on March 31, 2017. Paul was born in Monroe Michigan on June 17, 1963 to Robert Sr and Virginia Frayer (Fox). Paul was 9 years old when he moved to Tennessee, where he later graduated from Morristown - Hamblen West High. He has been a successful antiques dealer in the Morristown, southeast Tennessee and Atlanta area for over 35 years. Paul is preceded in death by his father, Robert Frayer Sr, brother, Victor Frayer and his grandparents, Fred and Mary Fox. Paul is survived by his adopted parents; Dit and Ella Dean Shively, adopted brother, Marcos (Mary) Lozano, his birth mother Virginia Picklesimer (Bob Owsley), brothers; Bob (Chris) Frayer, Chuck (Julie) Frayer, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and sister Heather Hammer as well as many close friends including Greg King, John Case, Lonny Clawson, Fred Campbell, Susan Seymour, Becky Skelton, Tim Carrier and Jackie O’Reilley. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 7:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with the Rev. Charlie Harkleroad officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service. Graveside Interment Service will be held at Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 10:00am following a procession from the funeral home at 9:00am. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Hamblen County Department of Human Services or Leadvale Baptist Church Building Fund.
