OBITUARY:
PAUL F. COLLINS, age 63, of Kodak, TN, passed away at his home on Saturday, December 9, 2006. A loving husband and father, his family and community knew him as a man who could fix or build anything. He was an active member of the French Broad Masonic Lodge #588, Scottish Rite, and Kerbela Shriners in Knoxville, where he loved helping others, expecially children, who could not help themselves. Preceded in death by his parents, Paro David and Nina Ruth Collins and step-mother, Nettie Collins. He is survived by his wife, Helen Grace Collins; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Mike Wilson of Kodak, and Patty and Jerry Lewis of Knoxville; sisters, Bonnie Hickman, Mary Lawson and husband, Jim, of Maryville; brother, James (J.P.) Collins; grandchildren, Sarah Wilson, and Garrett and Sydney Lewis. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2006 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Frank Cannon and Reverend Jack Cook officiating, with Masonic Service by French Broad Masonic Lodge #588 immediately preceding the service. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 at Blue Springs Cemetery on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
