CASE, age 81, of New Market, TN passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at the Life Care Center of Jefferson City. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Army. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; son, Eddie Case and grandson, Jimmy Case, Jr. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, James Case, Sr. and Ethel of New Market; daughter and son-in-law, Janie Berry and Tommy of New Market; daughter-in-law, Wanda Case of Knoxville; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; brothers, Bob Case and Bill Case; sisters, Mary Rhinehart and Stella Boatman; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2006 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Johnny Beeler and Reverend Johnny Mills officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the funeral home to proceed to Hills Union Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. military graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
