Patsy Yount Reid

Patsy Yount Reid, age 80, of Morristown passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 13, 1944, and graduated in 1962 from Granite Falls High School in North Carolina. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, ceramics, church, and her loving family. She was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church. Patsy is proceeded in death by her parents; George and Mildred Yount; and brother, Ricky Yount. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Reid; children, Gina (Robert) Lott, Lorri (David) Bohanan; grandchildren, Jessi, Katie and Bryce Lott, Amber (Andrew) Hayes, and Erin Bohanan; great-grandchildren, Tristan Bohanan, Bailey Hayes, Christopher Williams; sisters in law, Phyllis Woods, and Linda Reid. The family will receive friends from 11am-12pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at New Beginnings Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 12pm with Rev. Bill Manning officiating. A graveside interment will follow at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Talbott.
