Patsy Dotson Hixon

PATSY DOTSON HIXON, age 76, of Talbott, TN passed away on June 9, 2024 at The Heritage Center surrounded by her family. She was a long time and faithful member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, and cafeteria worker at Jefferson County High School for many years. She loved to travel, enjoyed time with her friends at the senior citizen center, and was a loyal fan of the Tennessee Volunteers. Preceded in death by her mother, Otella Dotson and husband, Tommy Hixon. She is survived by her children, Kim Woods, Kevin Hixon (Lynna), Kelly Fox (Chris) and Keith Hixon (Amy); grandchildren, Whitney Woods, Kailee Hixon, Tucker Hixon, Dylan Fox and Keely Hixon; many cousins and special friends. The family gives a special thank you to all her caregivers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Food Pantry, 549 N White Pine Road, Talbott, TN 37877. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Devin Miracle officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Thursday morning at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
