Patricia Heaton

Patricia Heaton passed away on March 13, 2025. She was born in Dandridge, TN on December 14, 1947, and is a member of Lyons Creek Baptist Church, Strawberry Plains, TN.

She graduated from Morristown High School, Morristown, TN in 1965. She earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Carson-Newman College, Associate Degree in Management Technology from Walters State Community College, and a certification in Christian Education from United Theological Seminary.

She enjoyed a career in real estate for 30 years before answering the call to serve her Lord in ministry as Director of Program Ministries at First United Methodist Church in Dandridge, TN.

Preceded in death by her parents, Willard Barbee and Phoebe Fox Barbee; brother, Donnie Barbee; husband, Fred Heaton, Jr. and special companion, Lonnie Parrott.

Survived by sister, Janice (Larry) Buckner; nephew(son), Richard D. Barbee; grandnephews, Maddox and Camdon Barbee; nephew, Michael Greene; nieces, Angela (Brad) Leak, Amy Haynes, Donnette Barbee; grandnieces, Meagan (Garrett) Savage and Morgan (Ty) Walton; special extended family, Travis, Bekah, Ellie-Mae, and Boone Parrott and Cale and Amanda Parrott.

Friends may call or visit at their convenience on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 9:00am until 6:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel, U.S. Hwy. 11E, Jefferson City, TN. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:00pm. Interment will be a small graveside service in Hillcrest Cemetery, Hwy. 25/70, Dandridge, TN on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 3:00pm.
