She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Blair McMurtery; son, Daniel Blair; mother, Margaret Curnutt Padgett Weems and father, Cleo Padgett. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Marie McMurtery; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Donald Wise of Rogersville, Trudy and John Black of Florida, Melissa and Tony Gaut of Dandridge; sons and daughters-in-law, Martin and Marlene McMurtery of Maryville, Scott and Carolyn McMurtery of Dandridge; grandchildren, Robyn McMurtery, Trudy McMurtery, David Wise, Kristi Black, John, Jr. and Shelly Black, Laura Dale and James Clevenger, Caryn Borders, Joshua McMurtery, Michaela McMurtery, Cammie Wolfenbarger, and Stephanie Lawson; great grandchildren, Dylan McMurtery, Haley Norton, Alexis Mannier, Austin Clevenger, Taylor Clevenger, Brandi Nix, Kimberly Nix, Andrew Buell and Jordan Buell. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Dandridge with Dr. Robert McCray officiating. Interment will follow in Roseberry Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2006 at the Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge.
