Ora Williams Underwood

ORA WILLIAMS UNDERWOOD, age 83, of Jefferson City, TN left behind those who loved her and went to be with the One who loved her best on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Having been saved young in life, Mrs. Ora was centered in God’s love. No matter the difficulties she faced, her love was never waning and was truly proof of God’s love. Those left behind to continue in her love are daughter, Melissa and Norman Fox; and sons, Tim and Robin Underwood, Kent and Gail Underwood; grandchildren, Jamie (Jamison) Bien, Lauren and Justin Underwood, Ben (Katie) Underwood, Sarah (Jonathan) Colson, and Abby Underwood; great-grandchildren, Connor, Cooper, and Stella Bien, and soon to come Claire Underwood; sisters, Faye Lowe, Edith Carter, Neta (Ted) Phillips; brother, Johnny Williams; beloved pastor, John Pinkston and church family of Buffalo Grove Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. Those who went before her are husband, Fred Eugene Underwood; parents, Lewis and Estella Williams; brothers, Junior and Charlie; sister, Dorothy; and infant twins. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. John Pinkston officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. at Farrar Funeral Home on Saturday morning to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
