She was a loving and wonderful person to her family and friends, and she was a devout Christian. She was the youngest and last survivor of the twelve children of Elbert and Arminda Leedy. Preceded in death by husband, Roy E. Helton and son-in-law, Raymond Cloninger. Survived by children; Helen Cloninger, Margie and Earl Marks, Juanita Lamb, Joanne and Marvin Henson, Roy S. and Deanna Helton, Les and Margie Keith Helton, Darrell Helton, and Steve and Jan Helton; grandchildren, Renee Cloninger McSpadden, Joan Cloninger Jones, Gerri Marks Brockwell, Marty Lamb, Margo Lamb Murphy, Michael Henson, Beth Henson Pearson, Marc Helton, Tina Helton Taylor, Paul Helton, Karla Helton, Mike Helton, Abby Helton, Amber Helton, Mindy Helton and Reno Helton; fifteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and extended granddaughter, Casey Snodderly. A celebration of her life will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2006 at Farrar Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Schooley and Dr. Sonny Strange officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service, with grandchildren serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Estel and Virginia Collier, Bill, Lisa, Doug and Karen Collier, and J. B. and Bobbie Brown. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Friends may call at the home of Helen Cloninger prior to the visitation and service Monday.
