Brooks age 78 of Jefferson City passed away 5:35 p.m. September 12, 2004 at Jefferson City Health & Rehab following an extended illness. She was a Member of Buffalo Grove Baptist Church. Retired employee from Carson-Newman College with 30 years of service. Preceded in death by her husband: James C. (Double Barrel) Brooks and Brother: Lawerence McDaniel. Survived by her sisters: Ersa Jarnigan of Jefferson City and Celia Collins of Rutledge. Brother: Glen McDaniel of Jefferson City. Several Niece and Nephews. Funeral Services 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Pinkston officiating. Interment to follow in Buffalo Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 14, 2004 from 1:00p.m. until 2:00p.m. prior to the Funeral Service.
