Olive Layfaette Anderson

OLIVE LAYFAETTE ANDERSON, age 99, of Dandridge, TN passed away February 21, 2018 at Jefferson Park Nursing Facility in Dandridge, TN. Olive was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church and a lifetime resident of East Tennessee. Olive was a former assistant cashier of Jefferson County Bank in Dandridge for 20 years and retired from Doctors Waterman, Domm and Rogers, Thoracic Surgeons of Knoxville as office manager after 17 years. Olive was preceded in death by her husband, Aldred “Shade¨ Anderson, and parents, Robert and Mossie Johnson. She is survived by God Son, James O. Ward of Florida; cousins, Judy Cozart of Rutledge, TN, Clara Drinnon of Sevierville, TN, Wayne Kyte of Dandridge, TN, Gordon Kyte of Elizabethton, TN; and niece, Janie Laws of Greeneville, TN. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, TN with Rev. John Clark conducting the service. Graveside interment service will be follow immediately at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Jefferson City, TN. Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
