Norma J. Manders

NORMA J. MANDERS, age 89 of New Market, TN passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. She was born and raised in Pine Island, MN and following graduation from high school she attended the Winona State Teachers College before marrying and raising her family. Norma will be remembered for her love of all animals and enjoyed feeding birds and squirrels and of course shopping. She was a member of the Dandridge Garden Club and enjoyed supporting various charities. She was the Best Mother ever and will be greatly missed by her family. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Manders; daughter, Marcia Neely; son, Robert Manders and is survived by her daughters, Michele Simkoff of Atlanta, GA and Melissa Manders of Rockaway Beach, NY and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service celebrating the life of Norma Manders will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016, 2:00pm at the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation in Newport, TN. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial gifts be made to the United States Humane Society or to the Paralyzed Veterans of America
