SWANN, age 82 of Dandridge, Tennessee, went to meet the Lord on Friday, July 23, 2004 after a short illness. She was a life long member of First Baptist Church of Dandridge. Preceded in death by her husband, Earl Kermit (E.K.) Swann; three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, J.L. and Christine Swann of Dandridge; son, Leslie Swann of Dandridge; grandchildren, Melissah Bruce, Jennifer Smith, Allison Swann-Davis, Michael Dale Norman, Robbie Silver, and Kristopher Eli Swann; great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Hannah, Kaylea and Alton; sisters, Frances Swann of Morristown and Grace Berrier of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 26, 2004 at First Baptist Church of Dandridge with Dr. Robert McCray officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2004 at the funeral home in Dandridge. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Dandridge Missionary Fund.
