Nina Faye Humphrey

Nina Faye Humphrey, age 80 of Dandridge passed away March 1, 2020. She was a member of Swann’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Nina was a loving mother, grandmother and a wonderful friend to many. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin T. Humphrey; parents, Lee and Frances Morgan; sister, Wanda Black; brothers, J.T. Morgan; brother in-laws, Blane Wells and Issac Matthews. Nina is survived by her sons, Melvin Junior (Carol) Humphrey, Richie Humphrey and Rodney (Lisa) Humphrey; grandchildren, Timothy and Maggie Humphrey; step grandchildren, Mandy (Colton) Buchanan and Kelly Overbay; step great grandchildren; Gavin Noe and Finn Overbay; brother, Alger (Brenda) Morgan; sisters, Golda Wells and Betty Matthews; and sister in-law, Helen Morgan. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 7:00 PM at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Dandridge with Rev. Randy Haun officiating. Family visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM prior to the service. Graveside interment will be 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Hillcrest Cemetery.
