Nellie Lillard Matthews Sims

Nellie Lillard Matthews Sims, age 82, of the Deep Springs Community of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Deep Springs Baptist Church and a retired employee of Tennessee Handbags, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceded in death by son, Billy David Sims; grandson, Billy Ingram; several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband, W.B. ?Dub? Sims; children, Judy (David) Scott, Carolyn (Gary) Zajac, Bobby Sims and Tommy (Yvonne) Sims; grandchildren, Michael (Misty) Ingram, Becky Sims, Tracey Levens and Jenny Howell; great grandchildren, C.J. Leonard, Joey Ingram, Johnny Ray Ingram, Steven Ingram, David Levens and Austin Howell; sisters, Edna and Nancy (Kitty); several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2011 at Deep Springs Baptist Church with Reverend Danny Matthews and Reverend Chad Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
