He was born December 26, 1931 in Shinnston, West Virginia, the son of the late Wilford Roscoe Goff and Roxie Blanche Goff. He was a member of Buffalo Grove Baptist Church, and had previously been Chairman of Deacons and Sunday School Director of Georgia Avenue Baptist Church in Wheaton, Maryland. He was a Korean Veteran and retired employee of Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Survived by wife of 55 years, Mary K. Goff; children, David Nathan (Melodi) Goff, Paula (Lynford) Reichert, and Robin Goff (Steven Donachy); grandchildren, Mary Beth Goff, Jennifer Goff, Angela Dobbins, Tony Dobbins, Jonathan, Joanna, Jolene, and Joel Goff; sisters, Jean Harris, Josephine Moore, Juanita Fortney; special friends, Daniel Brown, John Pinkston, and Don and Betty Lawrence. He was a faithful member of the National Republican Committee with special mention from Senator Bill Frist, M. D., Senate Majority Leader, The Help Hospitalized Veterans Organization (Roger Chaplin) and Micheal R. Williams, Tennessee State Senator. He was a member of the Dandridge Chapter of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2007 from the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. John Pinkston officiating. Interment will follow the service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
