Nathan B. Brooks,

NATHAN B. BROOKS, SR., age 68, of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday, November 3, 2007. He was the son of the late Joe and Trula Dalton Brooks and was preceded in death by sister, Viola French. Nathan was a member of the Deep Springs Baptist Church and was a former employee of Jefferson Farmers Coop and Tennessee Well Supply. A devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Lou Hawkins Brooks; children, Mark (Micki) Brooks, Nathan (Raquel) Brooks, Jr., Richard (Cathy) Brooks, Cindy (Nathan) Horner and Dawn (Chris) Scavone; grandchildren, Megan, Morgan, Ben, Mary, Hannah, Kara, Abigail, Victoria and Michael; sisters, Wanda Brown and Joann Rector; brother, R. V. (Joyce) Brooks; special brother-in-law, Mayford French and devoted friend, James Devotie; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Deep Springs Baptist Church with Rev.Al Smith, Rev. Chad Chambers and Rev. Mike Sledge officiating. Interment graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Deep Springs Cemetery.
