Natalie Leeper Morris, age 93, departed this life on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Lakeway Regional Hospital. She was born on September 19, 1924 to the late Edith West and Roy Hugh Leeper. Natalie was baptized at an early age in Long Creek and was the oldest female member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Morristown, where she was a faithful member of Thompson Senior Missions Adult Sunday School class and Pastor’s Aide Auxiliary until her health declined. She graduated from Nelson Mary High School and married Leonard Neal Morris on August 2, 1945. She was a loving and devoted, wife and mother. As a Homemaker she enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting and reading. Natalie is preceded in death by her parents H. Roy and Edith West Leeper; husband, Leonard Neal Morris, and daughter, Gail LaVonne Morris, she is also preceded in death by her sisters, Okadel Ruffin and Lutha Mae Bragg; brothers, Taylor Leeper and Roy Leeper, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Shelia Dianne Morris, 8 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces, great-nephews and several friends. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018, 1:00pm at Bethel Baptist Church, 1800 Cherokee Drive, Morristown, TN 37814. The family will receive friends from 12-1:00pm prior to the service. Graveside Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
