Naomi Sutton McSpadden

NAOMI SUTTON MCSPADDEN, age 80, of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday evening, May 14, 2010 at the Life Care Center of Jefferson City following an extended illness. She was born November 8, 1929, the daughter of the late George and Nola Edmonds Sutton. Preceded in death by her husband, Kent McSpadden; beloved children she cared for dearly, Peggy Jo and Kent "Brother" McSpadden, Jr.; sisters, Alene Bailey, Blanche Reneau, Loena (Toni) Denton, Thelma Denton and Gladys Moore; brother, Edward "Bud" Surron; step-mother, Maude (Edmonds) Sutton. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews whom she thought of as her own children. Naomi enjoyed working as a floral designed with Wice Flower Shop of Dandridge for many years and will be fondly remembered for her daily presence in the downtown Dandridge business community along with her husband Kent, who was a long time barber. A service of life celebration for Naomi will be held Monday at 8:00 p.m. at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel. Graveside interment service will be Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
