Naomi Boggs Cole, age 82 of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, passed away on November 25, 2024 at home after a long battle with Parkinson’s. She loved to spend her time gardening, solving crossword puzzles, and watching westerns. She was a member of Border City Order of the Eastern Star in Bristol, TN. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. She worked for the FBI for several years which was the highlight of her career before moving to Belk to work, and she operated D&D Market on Strawberry Plains Pike with her husband Ben. She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Benjamin Cole, parents, Lura and Edward P. Boggs, brothers, Jimmy Ray Boggs, Sr., Jackie Boggs, and Charles Edward Boggs, brother and sister in laws, Dennis and Dorothy Cole, Betty Cole, Orena and Ray England, Nellie and Richard Arneson, and Ruby and Howard Henderson. She is survived by her son, Brian A. Cole, brother, D.J. Boggs, several nieces and nephews, and many caring friends. The family wants to give a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice and Jefferson City Health & Rehab for their care. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home and the service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Eastview Memorial Gardens.
