NANNIE BIBLE WATKINS COX, age 90, of Talbott, TN passed away on August 6, 2012 after a brief illness. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. She was a devoted and loving homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Preceded in death by her husband, John A. (Jay) Cox; son, Robert E. (Bob) Cox; daughter, Patricia Sue Jackson; parents, W. B. and Wilma Watkins; brother-in-law, James C. ?Jim? Farrar; and nephew, Bill Farrar. She is survived by her children, John A. Cox, Jr. and wife Ruth of Dandridge, Nancy Lowe and husband Tim of Jasper, AL, Barbara Smith of Talbott; daughter-in-law, Judy Cox Watkins son-in-law, Hershel Jackson; grandchildren, Nathan Cox, who has always been with Mamaw, Todd and Christy Cox, Stacy and Chris Mynuk, Dusty and Latitia Cox, Chad and Toni Jill Cox, Andy and Ladale Jackson, Rodney and Brenda Jackson, JohnAnna and Brent Belcher; great-grandchildren, Cole, Peyton and Nate Cox, Hannah Elisabeth and Eli Mynuk, Jacob, Joe and Jay Cox, Molly, Brody and Cooper Cox, Andrea Sue Jackson, Breanna, Luke and Jenna Belcher; devoted sister and best friend, Agnes Farrar; brother, Bud Watkins and wife Betty; nephews, Britt Farrar(who named her Bertha) and wife, Stacey, Rusty Farrar and wife, Marion; Larry Watkins and wife Lois, Chip Watkins and wife, Annie; niece, Connie Watkins Bales. The family would like to thank devoted nurses who cared for Mom ? Betty Oliver, Becky Hurst, Kim Stinnett, Tonya Williamson, Roberta Whittaker, Suzanne Peck. A special thank you to Angie Kinder and Dr. Emmitt Manley. Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service with Rev. Mel Hawkins officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt.
