Nancy Jean Walker

NANCY JEAN WALKER, age 63, of Rutledge, TN passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Frances Lane Walker. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Walker; sister, Evelyn June Walker Car;r and infant sister, Gertrude Walker. Nancy was a graduate of the the Tennessee Technological University and received her Masters Degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She was a member of the Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church and was a former elementary school teacher. She is survived by sister, Joan Walker of Rutledge; sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris Marie and Bob Heft of Sparta,GA and Carol and Jake Watson of Knoxville, TN; three nieces and three nephews, several great nieces and great nephews and many cousins. Graveside inurnment services will be held, Monday, December 2, 2013 at 2:00pm at the French Broad Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Dr. Sean White and Rev. Max Reddick officiating.
