Nancy Collins Turpin

NANCY COLLINS TURPIN, age 80, of Talbott, TN passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Jefferson City and retired from Dico Tire with 30 years of service. Preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Katherine Collins; brothers, Ray Mac Collins and George Collins. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, William “Bill” Turpin; daughters, Lisa (Randall) Bolden of Morristown, and Scarlett Collins of New Market; son, Rhett (Leslie) Turpin of Lake City; grandchildren, Whitney Bolden, Nicholas Turpin and Ivey Newby; great-grandson, Aiden Newby; brothers, Robert, Frankie and Donnie Collins; sisters, Hillis Thomas, Sue Bowlin and Linda Bowers; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Burford officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service.
