Nancy S. Rimmer

NANCY S. RIMMER, age 66 of Dandridge, TN passed away suddenly Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at her home following a battle with lung cancer and kidney dialysis. She was born July 24, 1939 in West Palm Beach, FL. Following her marriage to Art Rimmer, they lived in Dandridge for several years and then moved to Wyoming before retiring back to Dandridge. Nancy received her Registered Nurse degree from Georgia Baptist Nursing School and had worked for various medical doctors and facilities during her working career. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Rimmer, Sr., and son, Arthur Rimmer, Jr. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Susan Rimmer of Sanford, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Alan Holmes of Maryville; grandchildren, Stephen, Jay and Will Rimmer, Wes and Brad Holmes, Delaney and Jack McReynolds; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Billy Pinkston of Jupiter, FL; sister, Thenora Beasley of Latana, FL; brother ans sister-in-law, Stephen and Kathy Sasser of Casper, Wyoming. She will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant who she loved and cherished dearly: John and Glenda Owens, Jean Vittetoe, Wilma Owens, Penny Loveday, Diana Siviter, Summer Shurts, Sidra Duty, Michael (Puggy) Poore, Marjorie Tipton, Tammy Deering and Taylor Owens. The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Jerry Foster and the Morristown Dialysis Clinic and their staff of wonderful nurses and employees for all their care and attention. Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Balch Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Chambers and Guy Huff delivering the eulogy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Nursing Program, c/o Jefferson County High School, 115 West Dumplin Valley Road, Dandridge, TN 37725.
