Nancy Ellen Waller Long, age 89, of White Pine, TN went home to be with her heavenly Father on Saturday, June 7, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. She was a faithful and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of Beth-Carr United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Raymond W. Long; father, Carl Waller; mother, Allie Fair Wolfenbarger Waller; and sisters, Mallie Walker and Norma June Hickey. She is survived by her children, Millie (Tom) Young of Mary Ester, FL, Rachel Mutter of White Pine, Reva (Charles) Cowart of Sevierville and Wesley (Robbie) Long of White Pine; 14 Grandchildren, Michael (Lindy) Cobble, Mark Cobble, Karen (Steve) Helsing, Kim (Eric) Smith, Keith Young, Ronda Young, Marvin (Tracey) Mutter, Cathy (Jason) Sims, Amy (Shane) Hill, Melissa (Mick) Ford, Christopher (Misty) Cowart, Heidi (Tom) Meyer, Jason Long and Michael Jones; 28 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and many special nieces, nephews and other family members. The family would like to express a special Thank You to UT Cancer Specialist, the staff of Amedysis Home Health and the staff of Smokey Mountain Hospice, a very special Thank You to Greta Riddles and Evelyn McNamara. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, 7:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with the Rev. Fred Lerher officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00pm prior to the funeral service. Graveside Interment will be on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, 10:00am in White Pine Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery at 9:45am for the graveside service.
