Myrtle Elizabeth "Susie" Burnett West

MYRTLE ELIZABETH ?SUSIE? BURNETT WEST, age 73, of Talbott, TN was called home to be with the Lord on April 15, 2012. She worked at Burnett Produce, retired from Dollywood, and attended New Market Baptist Church. She was also lovingly involved with her granddaughter?s activities. Preceded by husband, Dean West; parents, Lloyd Thomas and Rural Grace Roberts Burnett; brother, Keith Burnett; and nephew, Tommy Burnett. Survived by son, Thomas Dean West of Talbott, TN; daughter, Kimberley West of Talbott, TN; granddaughters, Ashley Denise West, Brandy Michelle West and Carley Elizabeth West, all of Talbott; mother of the grandchildren, Mindy Fowler of Talbott; sister, Lida (Kenneth) Cornwell of Talbott; brothers, Glen (Grace) Burnett of Jamestown, TN, Bud (Mary Neil) Burnett of Jamestown, TN; Tub (Mary Margaret) Burnett of Morristown, TN, and Fred (Nancy) Burnett of Morristown, TN; several nieces and nephews. She was a loving second mother to Carla Gregg of Jefferson City, TN, Adam Newman of White Pine, TN, and Carla?s children, Kristen Reed and Blake Shaffer. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. J. W. Taylor and Rev. Scott Cline officiating. Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Sunderland Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
