Myrtle Lee Lyle

MYRTLE LEE LYLE, age 93, of Jefferson City, TN, born September 13, 1915, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Myrtle was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Jefferson County, where many will remember her as the teacher of the Beginner Class for over 40 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Annie Lyle; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Chelsie Lyle; niece, Jean Lyle Jordan; and special friend, Elizabeth Seale. She is survived by nephews, Bill and Cloretta Lyle of Talbott, TN, Bob Lyle of Morristown, TN; two great-nieces; six great-nephews; and their children; and very special friend, Margaret Jett. The family would like to thank the CNA?s , nurses and staff at Jefferson County Nursing Home for all the love and care they showed to her over the last two years while she was a resident there. We would also like to say thanks to all the CNA?s and nurses at Jefferson Memorial Hospital for all they did for us over the last days. Graveside funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Mountain View Cemetery with Reverend Kyle Cate officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, March 17, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home.
