Myrtle Marie Kinder Shaver

MYRTLE M. SHAVER, age 79, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 at her residence. She will be best remembered as ?Mur-Mur? by all of the many children that she cared for over the past 40 years at ?Mur-Mur?s Playhouse.? She was preceded in death by her parents, James Franklin and Elizabeth Mae Kinder; and infant brothers, Kenneth and David. Survivors include son, David Shaver and daughter, Robin Walker of the home; daughter, Lisa Turner and husband, Michael of Talbott; grandchildren, Brad Maxwell and wife Renee` of Jefferson City and Ashley Cooley of New Market; great-grandsons, Joseph Michael of Ohio and Jehu Parker of Jefferson City; brother, Robert Kinder and wife, Rosa of Jefferson city; sister, Imogene Hinel of Michigan; niece, Kim and nephew, Mark; extended family and friends and her very special fella, Vontez McCray. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Donald Hankins officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
