Myrtle Emily Clark Whillock

Myrtle Emily Clark Whillock, age 85 of Knoxville, TN passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 14, 2003 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and was a member of the Mt. Harmony Baptist Church and the Eveready Sunday School Class. She was the daughter of the late Corum Clark and mary Acuff Maynard. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Whillock (1995), grandson, Charles Wesley Harkleroad; brothers, Condon C. Clark, Fernley Atkins, and Scivon Atkins; sisters, Era Spradlin, Wanda French, Iva Whittle, Corum Ellison, Lura Graves and Sybil Harris. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda Faye and Norman Terrell, Polly and Joe Woody, all of Knoxville, and Creta and Charlie Hareleroad of White Pine; grandsons and wives, J.P. "Joe" and Amy Woody, Greg and Dawn Woody, Lucas and Laura Harkleroad and Cory Harkleroad; great granddaughters, Peyton adn Cameron Woody, Morgan and Amber Woody and McKenzie Harkleroad; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2003 from the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlie Harkleroad and Rev. Bruce Martin officiating. Interment graveside services Saturday at 11 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, 6500 Strawberry Plains Pike, Knoxville, TN 37914. The family will receive friends Friday evening following the services.
