Myra Louise Hopkins

Myra Louise Hopkins, age 69 of White Pine, went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2024 after an extended illness. She was a wonderful Christian woman and a member of Leadvale Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruth Saults; sister, Pat Tolley and twin brother, Kenny Saults. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Steve Hopkins; children, Josh (Melissa) Hopkins and daughter, Alicia (Jeremy) Holden; grandson, Julius Alexander, granddaughters, Jayden, Zoe and Melanie; sisters, Linda (Donald Murray) Laws, Judi (Melvin) Jancarek and Becky Johnson also several nieces and nephews. Myra was a loving wife and mother. She loved listening to gospel music and talking with her sisters. She also loved being outdoors camping and horseback riding until her health declined. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Heritage Center and Smoky Mountain Hospice for the excellent care she received from them. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 between the hours of 5-7:00pm at Leadvale Baptist Church, funeral service to follow at 7:00pm in the sanctuary with Rev. Charlie Harkleroad and Rev. Brandon Cate officiating. Graveside Interment Service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, 11:00am in Coleman Cemetery. The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations be made to Leadvale Baptist Church, 874 Leadvale Church Road, White Pine, TN 37890.
