Murle "Pete" Martin, age 72, of the Piedmont Community passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 peacefully at his home  He was a loved member of Wesley Chapel Church. He enjoyed farming.

He is preceded by his parents, Earl and June Martin and brother, Kenny Martin. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Martin; his daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Johnny Vittetoe; Sister-in-laws, Julianne Martin and Bobbie Daniel; Nieces, Hannah (George) Garner and Megan Martin. Also survived by several cousins and friends who he cared about. A Memorial service will be held at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 5:00pm with Rev. Jimmy Norris officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00pm-5:00pm.
