Minnie Esther Stiles Ducker Bolden

MINNIE ESTHER STILES DUCKER BOLDEN, age 94, of Dandridge, TN formerly of Waynesville (Township of Hazelwood), NC, our beloved “MinnieMaw”, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, October 31, 2014. Former member of the Hazelwood Church of God and presently a member of the White Pine Church of God. She will be remembered for her love of being a foster grandparent and willingness to volunteer for wherever she could help others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bolden; sons, H.L. and Bruce Ducker;sisters, Pearl Shuffler, Burdell Wells, Etta Reed, Lorena Durocher and Irene Gosnell; brother, William Stiles. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Ducker Griffin, Carolyn Ducker Williams, Roberta Ducker Fore; son-in-law, Richard Griffin; 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren; sister, Martha Sorrels. The family would like to express special gratitude to the many caregivers at the Jefferson Co. Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the St. Judes Childrens Hospital, P.O. Box 500, Memphis, TN or the charity of your choice. Funeral services, Tuesday, November 4, 2014, 12:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
