MIMA JANE JOHNSON, age 72, of Dandridge, TN passed away on Friday, August 17, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by husband, Ray Johnson, Jr. and son, Sherman Carroll Johnson. She is survived by sons, Gary Lynn Johnson and wife, Linda, Kyle Eugene Johnson and wife, Fran, Herbert Russell Johnson and Wife, Mary, and Phillip J. Johnson; daughters, Debra Sue Thomas and husband, James A., and Amanda Carol Strange and husband, Andrew; grandchildren, Jennifer H. branch and husband, Jason, James Chance Thomas, Shane Ray Thomas, Kyle Wayne Johnson, Latisha Jane Johnson, Millie Diane Wright and husband, Allen, Jennifer Dennis, Travis Johnson and Timothy Johnson; great-grandchildren, Hunter A. Branch, Jacob Allen Wirght, brandon Wright, Landon Johnson, Hayden Dennis, Dameron Dennis and Quinton Dennis; many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2007 at Old Time Gospel Missionary Baptist Church in Newport with Rev. Dennis Rimmer officiating. Graveside interment service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in Hillcrest Cemetery in Dandridge. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the church.
