Milton H. Cole

MILTON H. COLE, age 79, of Dandridge, TN passed away Wednesday morning, May 22, 2013 at his home. Milton was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, attended Hills Union United Methodist Church and was a retired air traffic controller with the federal aviation agency, and in his child rearing days enjoyed work with youth sports. Preceded in death by his mother, Violet Cole Jewell and step-father, Sam Jewell. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Cole; daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Scott Vogeler of Littleton, CO; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Anita Cole of White House, TN; grandchildren, Andrew and Virginia Cole of White House, TN, Kyle Vogeler of Greely, CO and Kelly Vogeler of Littleton, CO; brother and sister-in-law, William and Althea Jewell of Glastenburry, CT. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts be made to the Thompson Cancer Survival Center Foundation, Clinical Research, 1915 White Ave., Knoxville, TN 37916. A memorial service celebrating the life of Milton H. Cole will be held, Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 2:00pm at Hills Union United Methodist Church with Rev. Alfred Newman officiating.
