OBITUARY:
MILLARD WILLIAM (BILL) CRIPE, JR., age 66, of Dandridge, TN, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2004 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital after courageously battling a long illness. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois and a retired civil engineer with TVA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard William Cripe, Sr., and Mildred Jeanne Million Cripe. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Judith Ball Cripe, three step children, Ricky Honeycutt, Ralph Honeycutt and Debra Baker; nine grandchildren, William Ford, Suzanne Blanchard, Desiree Brockelman, April, Danny and Glen Honeycutt, John Baker, Amanda Baker and Jake Honeycutt; three great grandchildren, James and Marie Blanchard and Deadrick Osborne; sisters-in-law and husbands, Joe and Gloria Nelson and Bill and Ginger Connor. The family wishes to give a special thanks to the nurses at Superior Hospice of Morristown, Dr. Southerland, Dr. Phillips and Vickie Carter, nurse practitioner; also to the nurses and CNAs of Jefferson Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2004 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, after which they will proceed to Dandridge Memorial Gardens for a 4:00 p.m. graveside and interment service with Reverend Jamie Webb officiating.
