Mildred Wolfenbarger

MILDRED R. WOLFENBARGER, age 85, of Jefferson City, TN passed away July 9, 2009 following an extended illness. She was retired from the City of Knoxville with 26 years of service and was a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist in Knoxville. Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Edward J. Wolfenbarger. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Linda Wolfenbarger of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Pamela Rankin of Dandridge, Mark Wolfenbarger and wife, Kristy of Morristown, TN, Sherri Henderson and husband, Josh of Jefferson City, TN, Taylor and Nick Wolfenbarger of Knoxville, TN; great-grandchildren, Michael Rankin and Ian Rankin of Dandridge, Tyler Lyle, Alyssa Lyle and Ethan Henderson, all of Jefferson City, Abby and Noah Wolfenbarger of Morristown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sam and Gail Roach of Atlanta, GA, Jimmy and Leanna Roach of Atlanta, GA; several nieces and nephews. Graveside interment service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2009 at the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville with Sam Roach officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
